How do we use your personal data?:-
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to full fill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- we may send you marketing emails with your permission of our latest offers discounts and new products.

2. DATA RETENTION AND CONSENT:-
When you place an order through the Site and complete a transaction, verify your credit card, arrange a delivery or a return you are providing us with your personal information to complete that transaction.we imply that you have consented to us collecting your personal information and using it for that reason only.
If we ask for you personal information again for a 2nd time for any reason like marketing, we will either asked you directly to consent to this or give you the option to say no.

4. SHOPIFY E-COMMERCE STORE:-
Our online store The Nottingham Mixologist is hosted by Shopify inc. Its the online E-Commerce platform that Shopify provide us with to be able to sell you are products and service you with.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
4.1. PAYMENTS:-
Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information including credit card numbers
email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.
Shopify only stores your credit card data for as long as it is necessary to complete your transaction purchase. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

_session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
8. AGE RESTRICTIONS/CONSENT:-
The Nottingham Mixologist does not have an age restriction for the purchase of glassware. However, there is an age restriction required by law for bottled cocktails, cocktail boxes and the purchase of any events (cocktail masterclass, birthday party, hen party etc) per the retail sale of alcohol. For bottled cocktails, cocktail boxes and any event hire, you must confirm that you of 18 years of age or older to purchase either cocktail gift sets or hire The Nottingham Mixologist for an event.
9. CHANGES:-
We reserve the right the make changes and modify the privacy policy at any given time so please come back and check on a regular basis We may for example, make changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons but if we do it will be notified on here and updated accordingly.
